Responsibilities
- Supervise child care staff ratios, administer all programs, implement policy, and follow regulations (licensing, PTQ, NAEYC, CCDF, CACFP).
- Actively engage children, parents, staff, and the community to maintain and grow enrollment.
- Continuously evaluate the program to establish improvement goals followed by a balance of mentoring and coaching to encourage staff participation.
- Monitor daily classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Complete weekly billing, reports, and aging account reconciliation.
- Coordinate vendor maintenance to ensure safety and compliance with all facilities and vehicles.
Qualifications
- BA/BS ECE (preferred)
- Other BA/BS or Assoc. ECE will be considered if combined with ECE experience and CEUs
- 3 years teaching ECE or management experience in a licenced child care center
- Demonstrate skills in management, customer service, conflict resolution, and marketing
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment
- Willing and able to lead activities in the classroom, kitchen, or outdoors as necessary
- Computer skills – Word / Excel / Google Apps / Email / Child Care Manager / CRM / etc.
- Occasional travel for staff meetings or other development initiatives
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
