The primary role of this position is performing assigned tasks within a centralized loan servicing team including but not limited to:
- Utilizes computer tickler system for insurance, recorded mortgages, final title policies and lien cards
- Files all real estate mortgages and mortgage extensions accurately and efficiently, either electronically or at the proper county
- Follows up with customers for lien cards ensuring the perfection of titles for vehicles used as collateral
- Prepares satisfactions of mortgages and partial releases of mortgages and sends them to the appropriate recorder, title company or customer
- Sends paid notes to customers and purges paid loan files
- Indexes, boards and checks back all portfolio and secondary market loans
- Services Fannie Mae portfolio in accordance with Fannie Mae servicing requirements
- Perform ongoing loan maintenance as requested
- Obtains all required loan file information and ensures that the file is properly documented on an ongoing basis
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
- Knowledge of Windows based software
- 2-years of bank experience preferred
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Operates a PC and standard office equipment
