Who You Are
Our ideal teammate serves as a vital member of our accounting department who helps ensure that we meet all generally accepted accounting and credit union accounting practices. This candidate will help reconcile bank accounts and ledgers, balance branch activity to the general daily ledger and help with other accounting tasks. Good credit is vital since we are a financial institution.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts, posts and balances general ledgers, and compiles segments of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
- Prepares financial reports and insures complete and accurate financial, statistical, accounting records
- Responsible for posting of tax files, wires, AD&D files, etc
Qualifications
- Three to five years of similar or related experience
- Two-year college degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent certification or licensing
Other
- Working knowledge of regulations relating to the Credit Union.
- Physical requirements include moving frequently and regularly using wrists, hands, and or fingers; speaking clearly, hearing and understanding; visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents; should be able to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

*Sign-on bonus available for new teammates who start with the company beginning June 1, 2021, for a limited time only. A sign-on bonus of $500, which is subject to tax, will be paid to during the pay period following 90 days of employment. The teammate must complete a full 90 days of employment in order to be eligible.
Salary : $20 - $23
