Employee Relations Leader

Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS) is looking for a seasoned Employee Relations Leader to help strengthen our workplace culture and support a fast-paced, high-impact manufacturing environment.

What Youâll Do
As the Employee Relations Leader, youâll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees while owning and driving Samsungâs Positive Employee Relations strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and oversee employee relations strategy, programs, and KPIs
- Handle complex ER cases including investigations, performance issues, conflict resolution, and involuntary terminations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Oversee ER investigations, audits, reporting, and case documentation
- Provide clear recommendations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Partner with leaders and stakeholders to promote a positive, inclusive work culture
- Lead and develop ER & Investigations Partners
đ Schedule: MondayâFriday, 8amâ5pm (some flexibility required due to 24/7 operations)
Education
- Bachelorâs degree in HR, Business, or related field (required)
- Masterâs degree or MBA (preferred)
Experience & Skills
- 10 years of progressive Employee Relations experience
- Manufacturing or labor-relations experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance
- Proven program and project management experience
- Exceptional investigation, communication, and influencing skills
- Calm, confident, and objective under pressure
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to de-escalate conflict
Salary : $82,610 - $156,950
