What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Member position at Firehouse Subs?
Here we grow again. We will be opening a new location in Soddy Daisy in early December. All Applicants should prepare for Orientation to take place on Sunday December 8 and full week of training and working the week of December 9, 2024. We intend to open for business on December 12, 2024.
Position Summary Statement: Team member positions are critical to the daily success of the restaurant as they are on the front line of our operation. Part of our mission is to serve hearty and flavorful food, and it has to be done right!
Typical Hours: Generally day shift part time team members would be scheduled 3-4 hour shifts and a total of 12-20 hours per week. For the first several weeks, team members will work more than these hours during grand opening.

Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays
- Must be able to read and write.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation, an enthusiastic positive attitude, and be able to work well with others.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and handle questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Must be a Team player.
- Must be able to maintain an organized, stocked, and sanitary work space.
- Able and willing to complete other restaurant functions such as detail cleaning, cashiering, sign waiving per management direction, or any other duties assigned by Store Management or Owners.
- Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all established food and safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs to chest height
