Treasury Management Specialist
The Treasury Management Specialist is responsible for partnering with the Treasury Management Officer to learn the basics of Treasury Management. They will assist with identifying and calling prospective customers with a high conversion rate by using their creativity, curiosity, and relationship skills to exceed customer expectations and providing expert financial advice and great service, while adhering to established Bank policies, procedures, and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Treasury Management Officer to manage all elements of the Treasury Management sales cycle including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis and close of sale in order to exceed revenue growth goals.
- Manages processes including implementation of TM products and services, pricing, client training and ongoing efficiencies.
- Work closely with Commercial Bankers to prioritize client calling and for cross-sell opportunities to expand the relationship.
- Completing necessary documents to implement Treasury Management products
- Advise and/or participate with TM product implementations, upgrades, and special projects.
- Provide excellent customer service to existing clients to promote client retention and portfolio growth.
- Apply a consultative sales approach that is strategic in nature to achieve production goals for TM as well as ancillary products such as merchant services and credit card programs.
- Achieve performance and sales goals through proactive growth and retention of quality clients with a focus on driving overall profitability to meet bank targets.
- Conduct pre-call planning sessions, research, and quantitative analysis in support of the sales opportunity.
- Assist with preparing all formal client presentations such as proposals, request for proposal responses, PowerPoint
- Maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, industry trends, competitive environment, and service issues.
- Opportunity to generate new deposit relationships for the Bank in the type and manner outlined in the Bank's Strategic Plan, including developing relationships extending beyond the initial deposit and treasury management request.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 -5 years' experience in banking or financial services industry with demonstrated sales success, relationship management experience with strong working relationships with clients and colleagues required.
- Detail oriented with strong time management, organizational and planning skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
