First Baptist Church of Rogers (FBR) is a Southern Baptist Church that averages 2,600 in weekly worship. Each week we have nine worship services across three campuses, which include English, Spanish, and Korean speaking services. We give all glory to our Heavenly Father.

KIDS MINISTRY ASSOCIATE EXPECTATIONS
The Kids Ministry Associate is expected to assist the Kids Pastor in bridging the discipleship process that was begun in the Preschool Ministry and continues to the Student Ministry. The Kids Ministry Associate is expected to assist the Kids Pastor in developing a vibrant ministry that makes and matures disciples resulting in spiritual and numerical growth. Growth can best occur when the ministry follows the church's process of Come-Connect-Grow-Serve-Go.
KIDS MINISTRY ASSOCIATE ATTRIBUTES

KIDS MINISTRY ASSOCIATE WILL DO THE FOLLOWING
• Be a dynamic communicator with a teaching gift. They must demonstrate a historical-grammatical process of understanding Scripture, and teach in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
• Recruit, train, and shepherd LIFE Group volunteers
• Provide counseling and spiritual direction to kids
• Maintain contact with kids and parents, keeping them informed of ongoing activities
• Help the Kids Pastor plan and execute special events (VBS, Mission trip, Camp, etc.)
• Assist in Upward Sports programs
• Support parents in effectively fulfilling their Christian parenting roles
• Assumes direct operational responsibility when the Kids Pastor is absent
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Possesses a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience in Kids Ministry.
• Basic administrative and budgeting skills.
