First Call Direct Hire is seeking a proactive and hands-on Assistant Manager Operations to lead warehouse operations in Greenwood, IN. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a commitment to safety standards, and a focus on efficiency, team engagement, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Daily Operations Management : Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring seamless workflows and high operational efficiency.
  • Inventory Control : Maintain product availability, manage stock levels, and ensure accurate record-keeping with attention to detail.
  • Safety & Compliance : Implement and uphold safety standards to create a secure and compliant work environment.
  • Team Leadership : Mentor and manage warehouse staff, fostering performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Problem-Solving : Resolve operational challenges with quick thinking and effective decision-making.
  • On-Floor Engagement : Actively engage on the warehouse floor, leading by example and addressing issues promptly.

  • Technical Skills : Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
