Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher with medical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing medical transport efficiently along with some billing department tasks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule BLS and ALS trips.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and crew members.
- Utilize transportation management systems for efficient dispatching.
- Monitor and track ambulances in real-time.
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone interactions
- Utilize GPS tools for mapping and routing.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terms.
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Experience in medical transportation planning and dispatching
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
