**Job Title: Site Supervisor - Infant and Preschool Center**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher/Site Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading classroom activities in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring the well-being of children, and overseeing daily operations at the preschool site. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood education, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs and interests of the children.
- Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor and manage classroom budgets, supplies, and resources.
- Conduct regular assessments of children’s development and learning.
- Lead parent-teacher conferences and participate in school events and activities.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
**Qualifications:**
1. **Education:**
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field. Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
2. **Experience:**
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
3. **Skills:**
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of educators.
- Familiarity with licensing regulations and compliance standards.
4. **Certifications:**
- CPR and First Aid Certification or obtain when hired .
- Mandated Reporter Training or obtain when hired .
