What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Center Front Desk Attendant position at First Fitness Management?
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic customer service oriented people to work the front desk and monitor a newly opened, private corporate fitness center Monday-Friday 5 or 6pm-9pm
Job Duties:
- Greet members with a smile and positive attitude
- Efficiently check in and handle routine member service tasks using the club systems
- Navigate basic questions about the fitness center
- Provide a clean and organized front desk
- Become proficient in the use of Datatrak and any other computer program required to meet the business needs of the customer
- Provide high levels of customer service and attentiveness to member needs
- Be responsive to member feedback and complaints and escalating issues to club management team as necessary
Skills, Experience & Education:
- Team player who approaches challenges in a creative and positive manner
- Excellent communicator- good listening and oral skills
- Ability to execute multiple tasks at once
- Experience working with computer systems and navigating through work screens
- Physical demands include ability to walk through all areas of clubs, climbing stairs (where applicable), standing behind the front desk, and bending and lifting (e.g., picking up towels, re-stacking of weights, moving of equipment as necessary).
- AED/CPR Certification REQUIRED
