What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Assistant position at First Friends Playschool?
We are looking to add one more person to our team.
Ideally looking for someone to work a full day Monday and Friday (8-4:30).
You may not bring your child(ren) with you to work.
In order to apply you:
Must have experience with children 0-5.
**Must be enrolled in the Criminal Background Registry.
**Must have current CPR/First Aid, Introduction to Child Care Health & Safety Course & Recognizing & Reporting Abuse & Neglect course.
Must be willing to obtain additional training hours each year.
Duties to include:
Play with/interact with children
Get on the floor to play
Must be able to hold and carry young children
Must be able to change diapers and assist with potty training
Must be flexible and easy-going
Must be able to come up with games, songs, activities and crafts for the children
Work with co-workers and have good communication
Open communication with parents
Help with daily clean up (sweeping/mopping, cleaning bathrooms, picking up toys, doing dishes, etc)
Looking for someone who can start immediately (must have background check complete before starting work)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
