What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst I/II/III position at First Hawaiian Bank?
We are currently seeking a collaborative, organized, goals-oriented Business Analyst I/II/III to join our Deposit Products Department. In this role, you will assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of existing, new or enhanced computerized systems and business processes. Review business and application processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Creates test plans and conducts testing for application software changes and/or new releases.
The Business Analyst title and grade is at the discretion of the Manager and will be discussed at the time of the offer. It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on the candidate's experience level.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Hours may vary)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- 1 year of professional level experience in applications support or related banking experience (BA I) required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in professional level experience in applications support or related banking experience (BA II) required.
- 5 years’ professional level experience in applications support or related banking experience (BA III) required.
- Business Analysts certification from a well-respected organization (e.g. IIBA, PMI).
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, including retail, mortgage/loans/deposits and wholesale banking preferred.
- Knowledge of mainframe or client server applications (BA II/III).
- Knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC) (BA II/III).
- Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills (BA II/III).
