First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an analytical and collaborative Senior Desktop Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure Department – End User Support team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the computer systems. This role is responsible for maintaining the computing environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades, monitoring system performance and participating in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of the organization.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology field supporting and maintaining infrastructure/applications required.
- Must have experience working with Windows 10, Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, Power Shell, Group Policy Object & Office 365.
- Ability to work onsite
- Professional certifications in technology from vendors such as Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, and/or related, or equivalent work experience with technology from these vendors preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with management and end-users.
- Ability to implement process improvements through automation.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects.
