What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Analyst II position at First Hawaiian Bank?
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a communicative, analytical, team-oriented individual for the Systems Analyst with the IT Infrastructure Department Server Team. The Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure systems/applications. Provides production support and assists in developing and executing strategic roadmaps with focus on server administration and management of associated infrastructure systems/applications (e.g. Physical Servers, Virtual Server Hosts/Storage, VMWare, Backup Systems). Systems/applications supported may also include but are not limited to Email, virtual desktop infrastructure, network systems, cloud computing, backup systems and security systems.
The Successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM (hours may vary)

The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years’ experience in Information Technology field supporting and maintaining infrastructure/applications.
- 3 years of experience with managing and supporting server/storage systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience.
- Professional certifications in technology from vendors such as Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, and/or related, or equivalent work experience with technology from these vendors.
