Description
We are looking for a talented, experienced Housekeeping Inspector to complete our housekeeping team at the lodge.
Our housekeeping department oversees housekeeping services to all of our accommodations and public spaces. Our Housekeeping Inspector works closely with our Housekeeping Manager to ensure we deliver exceptional housekeeping services to our guests in all areas of the lodge.
The Housekeeping Inspector has varied responsibilities, including inspecting rooms and public areas, maintaining and refining our housekeeping standards, supporting our housekeeping staff, providing feedback and ideas to the housekeeping team, assisting with guest requests, and hands-on support of daily housekeeping. The Inspector also provides training to new and existing Housekeeping Staff. The Housekeeping Inspector has one other distinct and important role as well: completing regular Quality Assurance inspections in cabins – actively maintaining guest accommodations to furnishings standards & identifying maintenance and other issues.

- Provide our guests with the best in service, hospitality and care
- Clean guest rooms, public lobbies, restrooms and other guest use areas as assigned
- Handle guest complaints concerning housekeeping service or refers problem to managers
- List and itemize lost and found items and turn them in to the Front Desk
- Inspect all rooms after they have been cleaned to ensure that all lodge policies and
standards have been met and room is guest ready - Complete any other duties as assigned to ensure all guests have an exceptional experience
- Assists housekeepers with daily housekeeping as needed to meet the 4pm check-in deadline, including stripping rooms, making beds, porting for the housekeeper, etc.
- Stay on top of trash and dirty linen and get it to the appropriate place
- Communicate well with managers of all departments
- Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping vacuums, closets, storage areas and other equipment
- When finding unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns, address them immediately by a contacting supervisor or turning in maintenance Service Requests
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager
- Assist with other lodge needs as may arise from time to time
- Comply with housekeeping policies and procedures
- Comply with proper clean up procedures
- Comply with procedures for chemical use
- Comply with work shift schedules and related requirements

Work environment and Physical demands
- The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
- Frequent walking, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, sitting, climbing stairs
- Ability to stand and move continuously
- Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum
- Stocking, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning toilets/bathrooms
- Working with required chemicals
- Shifts of up to 8 hours per day, plus periodic additional overtime hours

- Full time position available immediately
- 40 hours of paid time off per year
- Healthcare benefits available after 90 days

- Regular work schedule with specific days off will be established
- Room and board available for fixed weekly cost both Onsite and Offsite
