This position supports our commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple locations. What You’ll Do: Administer the driver hiring and compliance process, including background checks, drug testing, and licensing verification Provide guidance to location trainers to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures Investigate accidents, incidents, and work-related injuries, determining fault and managing compliance documentation Prepare and submit accident-related compliance forms, maintain records, and enter data into company systems Assist and train drivers and attendants on passenger management and other safety-related issues Conduct driver road checks to evaluate performance and compliance Supervise employees responsible for safety, driver hiring, or training activities Generate reports and analyze safety trends to recommend process improvements What You Bring: 2-3 years of transportation or safety-related experience High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of federal and state safety and environmental regulations Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Reliable attendance and punctuality Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel within service area Why Join First Student?
