Finance Analyst

As the Finance Analyst at First PREMIER Bank you will provide Bank leadership with accurate, timely and useful analysis on branch / business line performance through the budgeting and forecasting processes and other routine reporting and analysis.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Prepare routine analysis on Bank, branch and business line performance against historical, budget and forecast.
• Assist with recurring deep dives into line items, branches and business lines to understand and evaluate performance drivers.
• Calculate Risk Based Capital (actual and forecast).
• Ongoing regulatory monitoring related to Reg W and BIN reporting.
• Various daily and monthly accounting tasks and reconciliations.

Skills and Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analytic tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet daily deadlines, concentrate and work independently.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial metrics/ratios preferred.
