What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver position at First Quality Baby Products, LLC?
Responsible for tracking trailer movement, keeping the yard organized; perform preventative maintenance on equipment and truck.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
∙ Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
∙ Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulation/guidelines.
∙ Responsible for trailer movement within the Lewistown facility.
∙ Yard organization and housekeeping.
∙ Preventative maintenance and housekeeping of switcher truck.
∙ Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
∙ Maintains accurate yard inventories and trailer pools.
∙ Assist with security. ∙ Ability to operate safely in a fast pace environment.
∙ Strong communication and learning skills.
∙ Ability to work in a team orientated environment.
∙ Ability to operate all warehouse material handling equipment.
∙ Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
Education and experience requirements:
∙ Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required.
∙ Commercial Drivers License.
Work Environment:
∙ Work in a manufacturing environment with the potential for exposure to dust during certain tasks.
Physical Requirements:
∙ Walk / stand / sit 100% of time during a 12–hour shift.
∙ Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, throughout shift.
∙ Occasional climbing and reaching.
∙ Occasional reaching overhead during shift.
∙ Frequent use of hand and foot controls.
∙ Operation of hand trucks, powered industrial trucks throughout shift.
∙ Continuous housekeeping by sweeping and organizing floor and work area.
∙ Occasional climbing of steps/ladders
