We are seeking an Maintenance Manager for Nutek Disposables located in McElhattan, PA.
This position is responsible for the management of the Maintenance Department and machine process development.
Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
- Observes all safety rules and always uses the proper safety equipment.
- Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
- Ensures safe work practices are being followed and violations are corrected immediately.
- Manages all maintenance department activities (mechanical, electrical, machine shop) to maintain base machine health through corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
- Provides feedback to the production department on machine health best practices.
- Documents and implements preventative maintenance programs through the implemented CMMS and tracks to identify process/machine improvements and program effectiveness.
- Evaluates and recommends quality changes to existing maintenance personnel.
- Complies with GMP documentation and control requirements, including housekeeping, standard operating procedures, etc.
- Coordinates with Platform Managers to track and develops parts spending and usage plans.
- Develops budgetary plans for accounting.
- Supports Product Development.
- Supports production and quality assurance departments with trials and implementation of new machine technology as needed.
- Supervises the Storeroom Coordinator and Machinists.
- Drive the implementation of self-directed maintenance teams.
Education and experience requirements:
- Prefer five years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- A minimum of five years of industrial maintenance experience.
- A minimum of five years in a position of progressive responsibility leading to a manager with a manufacturing company.
- Prior experience with a Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Standard knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Standard knowledge of work order software packages and spare parts inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills.
