Part-Time Teller / Mid-Day Shift
Essential Job Functions:
Our Retail Tellers are an essential, service-oriented, frontline position. Our teller team is the face of First State Bank and Trust and the communities that we serve. This position is responsible for the accurate processing of customer transactions as well as relationship building.
First State Bank and Trust tellers are customer-oriented. They educate customers about bank products and services. Our tellers build loyalty, are trusted, and must follow bank rules and regulations while meeting customer needs.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Greet and direct customers in person or on the phone.
- Understand and promote Bank products and services.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures as well as industry standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions based upon policy, knowledge and experience.
- Exercise good judgement and be alert to fraud.
- Ability to multi-task, respond to pressure and adapt to changing needs.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
Job Requirements
- High School or Equivalent
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and build the loyalty of our customers.
- Ability to perform calculations and basic math skills.
- Maintain customer confidentiality.
- Promote First State Bank within our branches and communities.
- Team Player.
- Ability to work 10:00 am - 2:00 pm during the week.
- Ability to work Saturdays.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
