First State Community Bank is seeking a quick learning, positive and driven individual with a strong work ethic for a Loan Officer position.

As an FSCB lender, you'll be a connector. You'll connect people to the loan solutions that are specifically designed to fit their needs. You'll help start new businesses, help a family buy their very first home, or even help someone establish credit. You connect people to what's possible. For many, you'll be the go-to person for financial advice and expertise. Our best lenders are a mix of practicality and flexibility, who know how to use the right tools to create lasting customer relationships
What We Expect
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key partners (e.g. Realtors, Tax Professionals, Developers, etc.)
- Ability to conduct successful sales calls with potential clients and current customers
- Keen attention to detail as it relates to loan applications, loan processing, new regulations, bank policies and procedures
- Coordinate interaction between borrower and all other parties involved, keeping customers updated throughout the process
- College degree or equivalent
- Computer aptitude/experience
- 1 to 2 years of lending experience
- Knowledge in basic lending and credit markets
- Strong oral, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work well independently, under pressure and against time deadlines
- Demonstrated abilities in the areas of problem-solving, analysis, and time management

Qualifications
- College Degree or Equivalent
- Prior sales experience a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills
