Credit Analyst

Credit Analysts are primarily responsible for credit analysis and loan underwriting in support of the Lending Officers, which includes, but is not limited to, information gathering on loan applicants, credit analysis with an emphasis on both the primary and secondary sources of repayment, preparation and completion of loan packages for presentation of loan packages to the Officer's and Director's Loan Committees, and ongoing customer relationship monitoring and servicing, including daily interaction with the customers and internal bank staff to ensure quality work product.

Responsibilities

• Utilize analytical skills to prepare Credit Approval Memorandums (CAMs) in close working relationship with the Lending Officer's, Lending Assistants, and applicants.
• Analyze an applicant's financial information, credit history, banking status, collateral, and other pertinent information to determine the feasibility and risks of granting the loan with emphasis on both the primary and secondary sources of repayment.
• Contact the Lending Officer(s) to resolve questions regarding applicant information and obtain supporting information as required.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the loan packages and adherence and compliance with all bank policies and procedures and all regulatory requirements.
• Assist with site inspections on real estate loan collateral and document accordingly for any environmental or other relevant collateral conditions or issues.
• Perform In-House Real Estate Valuations.
• Compile special credit and loan reports for various management and Board of Director meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree (or nearing completion) from a four-year college or university with an educational preference in accounting, finance, business, or economics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, emphasis in Excel.
• 2 years experience preferred

Pay: $38,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
