Client location and schedule hours:
Client locted in the Mt.Juliet area. the schedule is Monday 1 pm to 5 pm Thursday 1 pm to 7 pm
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to assist a female client living at home with bone cancer who is receiving palliative care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in all forms of transfers and able to provide support with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation. It is important that the caregiver can follow the client’s specific directions regarding household tasks while maintaining a respectful and supportive presence. The caregiver must also have an understanding of the grief and dying process, including the client’s journey of denial or acceptance of her condition, and be able to provide care with empathy, patience, and dignity.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
Consent to drug and alcohol testing
TB test
