What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Supervisor position at FirstFleet Inc?
FirstFleet is a national carrier with 2500 trucks. We are seeking a Transportation Supervisor at our Jeffersonville, IN location.
Monday – Friday 10:00am – 6:00pm
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- TMW dispatch of drivers.
- Monitoring DVIR’s.
- Trailer tracking and trailer report.
- Maintain trailer report & trailer maintenance.
- Onboard new drivers.
- Monitoring driver compliance with daily pre trip & post trip inspections
- Audit BOL’s daily.
- Virgin Pulse compliance
- Serve as back up for Terminal Manager as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Transportation/Dispatch experience required.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations
- Computer Skills (Outlook, Windows, and Knowledge of TMW (but not required)
- Self-Starter, with strong attention to detail
Pre-employment drug screen required.
