- Managing the asset bidding and asset acquisition processes
- Efficient asset document review using machine learning and optical character recognition
- Vetting of assets for any issues with lending laws, taxes, or underlying collateral value
- Payment collection, surveillance, and loss mitigation once the asset is purchased
- Securitization of loans into bonds and marketing these assets to institutional investors
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Reconcile investor remittance reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting
- Monitor Servicer data/reporting to assess compliance with key performance indicators, service level agreements, delegated authorities, and established policies and procedures
- Leverage internal database technologies to streamline and enhance data management processes across organizational platforms
- Validate data integrity and accuracy in incoming data feeds and in-house data warehouses to ensure reliable reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in system enhancements and implementations, performing testing to confirm alignment with documented business requirements
- Support key daily and monthly processes, including database management, loan-level cashflow monitoring, early payment default/payoff processing and loss mitigation activity, through data review and collaboration with Servicers and other counterparties
- Conduct surveillance and follow-up on loss mitigation and default-related activities and analyze portfolio trend indicators to help make data-informed decisions
- Coordinate communications and escalations with internal teams—including Asset Management, Servicing Oversight, Legal, and Compliance—to support effective portfolio management and resolution of high-risk loans
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in mortgage operations and/or investor reporting required
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or technology-related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management. Skilled in leveraging datasets to extract insights and optimize data workflows
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Compensation
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $90,000 and $110,000 annually. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by FKM in its sole discretion.In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
