Personal Care Assistant responsibilities include:
- Bathing assistance and hygiene
- Walking and mobility assistance
- Transfer and posture positioning
- Continence and toileting care
- Oral hygiene
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred)
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
- A commitment to being present and providing quality care
- Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
- Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
Location: Balmville, NY (Newburgh area)
Schedule: We are looking for a certified PCA for a client in Balmville to work 6pm-10pm or 6pm-11pm shifts weeknights & weekend nights.
We are also looking for a certified PCA to do fill ins for the 10am-6pm shifts, as needed, when the regular caregivers for this client need days off/call out sick. We are with this client 7 days a week.
Need someone who is very reliable.
