Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architects in Jacksonville, FL to work with the Cloud Architecture & Engineering team colleagues enabling adoption of DevOps, Automation, CI/CD Tooling, Infrastructure as Code and GitOps. Deliver FIS products “as a Service” on both Azure and AWS. Assess new and updated software applications from internal development groups and external 3rd parties, pilot them, engineering their automation for public cloud and roll them out as updates to our automation and deployments into live projects. Work on the progression of JIRA backlog items in Agile sprints. Manage the development and customization of CI/CD Toolchains. Support capacity planning of the cloud infrastructure, scaling for future and its maintenance by automating and documenting. Liaise with internal/external clients to analyze business procedure, clarify client requirements, and define the scope of existing software applications, hardware, and network provision. Undertake feasibility studies for major IT developments incorporating costs, benefits, and present proposals to clients. Communicate the impact of emerging technologies to clients and advise upon the potential introduction of such technology. Provide advice and assistance in the procurement, provision, delivery, installation, maintenance and use of IT systems and their environments. Examine existing business models, flows of data, design functional specifications, and test plans for new systems to meet client’s needs. Research, analyze, evaluate,

monitor network infrastructure, and network performance.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: serving as Technical SME and primary ownership of Cloud Architecture & Engineering team related issues for project/implementation teams and environments; serving as Cloud SME and primary contact with client counterparts; working with product development organization to assimilate product release notes and other product related artifacts for application deployments; assisting implementation project teams; implementing progression of JIRA backlog items in Agile sprints; ensuring development and customization of CI/CD Toolchains and support; utilizing best tech solution for business problems; serving as 3rd line support investigations in Post implementation; designing and executing proof of concept (POC) and proof of value (POV) efforts to efficiently test out improvement ideas; identifying, mitigating and resolving technical risks and issues; reporting status of all in progress initiatives; interfacing with stakeholders at several levels, from executive management to technical staff Support Pre-Sales initiative; and providing MBP SaaS/Public Cloud related content for RFI/RFP response input, customer presentations, and meetings. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills.
