What does a successful Enterprise Architect do at Fiserv?

• You will be part of the team who will assess global processes, or lack thereof, and build and streamline to improve our compliance health, efficiency, and security.
• You'll quickly provide global solutions that improve efficiency, auditability, and overall process, along with implementing these across the firm.
• You'll be a self-starter who is eager to learn new things and able to work independently under general guidance.

What you will do:

• Diagnose performance and reliability issues across existing toolset application stack
• Provide seasoned troubleshooting support for core systems when the specified is outside its BAU bounds
• Deliver reusable automation solutions to improve operational consistency
• Participate in the design and delivery the of automation beyond automating the steps of delivery
• Understand and reverse engineer applications, processes, and infrastructure using your previous experience as developer, systems admin, or architect
• Manage delivery from the front without rigid supervision
• Document implementation architecture for automation

What you will need to have:

• 7 years of experience working with large global enterprise scale infrastructure and datacenters
• 7 years of experience in system infrastructure (Network, Server, SAN, etc.) and programming languages (C, C#, scripting, RPA technologies)
• 7 years of experience in systems engineering or development of an end-to-end dev lifecycle
• 7 years of combined experience in Java, Python, C, C , C#, or scripting languages
• 7 years of experience with the following: system and software architecture; automation and configuration management; building pipelines; testing analytics; and cloud/virtualized systems
• Ability to understand scripting and automation with Puppet or Salt

What would be great to have:

• Bachelor's degree in natural science/engineering (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience
• Experience in the payments, banking, or finance industries

Important info about this role:

• We’re better together. This role is fully on-site for the first 90 days. After that, it’s on-site Monday through Thursday, and you can work from home on Fridays.
