Fisher College, a private four-year institution located in the heart of Boston historic Back Bay, seeks a self-motivated Coordinator to join our Office of Registrar and Academic Affairs. This is full-time onsite position.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
Provides support to the Registrar and Academic Services and completes assigned functions as listed below. This includes assisting students, faculty and staff with registrar and academic related activities, duties and office management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide excellent customer service to students and to promote the student-centric culture to the Fisher College Mission
- Assist students and faculty with all registrar related activities, policies and procedures.
- Input and maintain information on current students into SCAN, an integrated information system
- Collaborate with school representatives to provide services to students, staff and faculty

Process change of degrees, change of majors, course and college withdrawals, transcript requests and student’s
course registrations. - To ensure that student records are accurately maintained as determined by regulatory, legal, or institutional policies and procedures.
- Assists with the data entry in Fisher’s SIS system.
- Maintains confidentiality of all student, associate, and/or university information as required.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
- Coordinate academic events such as Honor Society Induction, Faculty Convocations, and Speaker Events.
- Order supplies for Academics.
- Assists with the managing of commencement exercises.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- One year of experience in Higher Education in the Registrar’s Office preferred. However, related administrative experience will be considered.
- Proficient in Office Suite and College database applications. Experience in SCAN a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable, flexible and cooperative.
