POSITION SCOPE
The Entry Level 1/Level 2 Engineer position requires preparation and updating of detail drawings for new and existing heavy equipment used for the mining and aggregate industry. The entry level position also requires data entry of existing electrical and hydraulic schematics into AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks format. Some travel may be required.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Perform design work, layouts, and schematic drawings assigned by the department manager.
- Produce detail drawings with bill of materials for shop production.
- Prepare material lists for Purchasing Department.
- Prepare material takeoffs for bidding purposes.
- Prepare shipping lists for yard personnel on large projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
BACKGROUND
- Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Strong engineering and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with Auto Cad and/or SolidWorks is a MUST - testing may be required.
- Experience with SolidWorks Electrical is a plus.
- Basic skills in Word processor and Excel programs.

- May require travel dependent on company needs.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
