Gravel/Heavy Haul Driver is a safety sensitive position and must be able to safely operate semi-trucks to transport various aggregates and oversized equipment to remote locations across the states of ND/SD/MT/WY. Drivers may be required to haul/operate a backhoe for gravel prospecting operations during the off-season. Drivers are responsible for maintaining their equipment and performing assigned duties as efficiently as possible. Overnight travel may be required. This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Essential Functions
- Complete routine maintenance checks on trucks
- Operate truck efficiently
- Hook, unhook trailer
- Change tires
- Maintain brake and air lines
- Pre-trip, post-trip inspections
- Ability to transport oversized loads
- Willing to operate any vehicle assigned
- Operate heavy equipment (loaders) for loading/unloading purposes
- Maintain accurate E-logs and timecards
- Ability to use Apple products for delivery directions (Google pin drops)
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid Class A CDL with all endorsements (HazMat & Tanker preferred but not required)
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings including DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report
- Should have mechanical skills to perform maintenance on equipment
- Compliance with MSHA regulations
- Two years of tractor/trailer driving experience preferred, but not required
- Good attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
- Basic computer skills (Email, Smart Phone, Excel)
