POSITION SCOPE
The Parts Runner will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment. They will be operating a Pick up truck to move parts and equipment to support site development operations.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections
- Maintain Pick up truck in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
- Complete daily emails and other documentation as required
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Be a leader in both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, clients, and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Safety, Safety, Safety comply with all OSHA and company policies, procedures, and standards of safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- A valid driver's license
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
- MSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification
- Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rain
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Overnight travel required
- Weekend work may be required
