What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at FISHER PACKING COMPANY?
The second shift production lead is responsible for coordination of shift personnel and activities to meet production requirements in a safe and timely manner while documenting compliance with quality specifications.
This 2nd shift position would work Monday-Friday, with health care, retirement and paid time-off benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
· Coordinate and plan resources to meet production requirements
· Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
· Ensure compliance with food safety and quality assurance programs via testing and documentation of results and sanitation audits
· Actively participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for identified process or product deficiencies
· Train personnel on safety, quality, production processes and ensure adherence to company policies
· Work to continuously improve business processes
Qualifications:
· Positive, Can-Do attitude
· Dependable with strong-work ethic
· Three to five years supervisory experience leading personnel to achieve production goals
· Ability to problem solve and function independently using experience and good judgment
· Knowledge of food industry processes including USDA regulations, HACCP and SQF certificated processes
· Bilingual in English & Spanish desirable
· Enjoy working with and leading others to accomplish objectives
· Experience with modern food processing and packaging equipment desirable
Academic coursework, degrees and/or certifications recognized in lieu of experience

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
