We are looking for a Home Manager to overlook some of our homes. Home Manager must plan to be On-Call around every 4 weekends as well as at least 1 required Holiday per year. Applicants must be 21 years or older due to the need to be able to drive our agency vans.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED
LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATION:
Completion of Direct Support Person Training Program
Current in CPR/ First Aide
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred - Two years, full-time experience in the type of program supervised.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to assist with transfers, self-care needs, self-preservation, and behavioral interventions. This may include: bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting, crawling, reaching, walking, driving, traveling, kneeling, and crouching.
OTHER (AS PERTAINS TO POSITION):
Valid Driver’s License and MVR approval
At least 25 years of age for Child Care Facility
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All duties as outlined in the “Basic Qualifications” Section of the Five Star employee manual (section 1.04) or the section titled “General Job Description for all staff” in the Temp. Staff Manual
- Able to perform duties as listed in Direct Support Professional (DSP) job description as needed.
- Programs:
o Maintain and enforce all rules pertaining to the programs
o Maintain and implement ongoing compliance with federal and state regulations/ standards including but not limited to Medicaid Waiver, COA, etc.
o Have knowledge of the range of service interventions
o Meet Quality Assurance and other evaluation requirements
o Oversees day to day operations of program sites you are assigned.
o Responsible for maintaining safety and physical plant standards of assigned locations and vehicles
o Oversee the daily care and training of residents/ clients
o Reviews and approves purchase of supplies and materials
o Complete monthly required reports as assigned
o Reviews and monitors program data collection
o Helps to maintain inventory of client personal items as needed: clothing, supplies, etc.
o Provides transportation of residents/ clients as needed to community outings, medical appointments, etc.
o Responds to emergency situations as needed
o Implement all emergency procedures in the event of a fire, earthquake, other natural disasters, medical emergencies, etc.
- General Duties:
o Attends all training as assigned
o Attends meetings as assigned, providing input and ideas
o Responds to emergency situations as needed
o Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, guardians, and other agencies
o Implement all emergency procedures in the event of a fire, earthquake, other natural disasters, medical emergencies, etc.
- Staff Supervision:
o Provide supervision of staff assigned to you to manage by completing disciplinary action, evaluations, check-ins, etc.
o Plan and schedule staff coverage and review time cards
o Assign duties to staff as needed
o Coordinate staff time off as needed
o Help make recommendations about staff to upper management
- On-call duties as assigned
- Perform other duties/ responsibilities as assigned
