Summary/Objective
Small Engine Mechanic and Facilities Maintenance
The Maintenance Support position manages the repair and maintenance of all go-karts and certain attractions at the facility.
This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain attraction and facility equipment according to manufacturers and industry standard guidelines to promote safety and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.

Daily responsibilities are:
- Perform diversified duties to repair and maintain go-karts, attractions and facilities.
- Provide unscheduled repairs of go-karts, rides and/or bumper boats as needed when they are pulled out of service.
- Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of go-karts and attractions.
- Perform daily checklist to ensure attractions are safe and have oil.
- Perform End of Season and In Season checklists
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of go-karts and attractions.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on go-karts and attractions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools including torque wrench and rattle can paint gun.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Reviews of processes and procedures to constantly look for ways to improve and be more efficient.
Work Environment
This job operates in an inside and outside work environment. This role routinely requires work during hot and cold temperatures at times. May also work in loud environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a crew member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Crew member is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The crew member frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; use hands to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Might be required to be on knees and possibly lay on back. Might be required to climb up to 50 feet. Could lift up to 50-100lbs bi-annually and 10-50lbs daily.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are determined by the Director of Attraction Maintenance. Evenings, weekends and some holidays are required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected once or twice annually.
Education and Experience
- Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current driver’s license with clear driving record is desired

Salary : $30,400 - $38,500
