FULL TIME OR PART-TIME USED CAR DEALERSHIP ASSOCIATE
Job Overview:
We have an immediate opening at our small used car dealership in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The starting pay is $13 per hour.
Skills:
The perfect candidate will possess exceptional organizational, oral, and written communication skills. They should be comfortable working independently and have strong customer service and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to prioritize their workload. Proficiency with general office equipment and computers is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally assist customers and vendors.
- Answer phone calls promptly and appropriately.
- Contact various insurance companies to confirm customers' policy statuses.- Perform clerical support tasks, including completing and filing required paperwork efficiently.- Showcase available vehicles to customers.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding available cars, financing options, and the vehicle purchase process.
- Assist customers with test driving and purchasing, ensuring all documentation is completed according to company policies.
- Communicate with customers about their account information in line with company policies.
- Document information and complete required paperwork according to company guidelines.
- Collect and appropriately document customer payments.
- Communicate with vendors to manage and update inventory, services, and invoices.
- Maintain meticulous daily accounts per company policies.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Education:
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with some college education.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service, clerical, or sales positions is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a car dealership is a plus but not mandatory.
- An unrestricted driver’s license is required.
