Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for managing high-visibility OEM and Aftermarket machinery projects. This customer-facing role drives project success through effective leadership, resource utilization, risk management, and technical oversight. The project manager owns the project but operates in a matrix organization with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations, to achieve project requirements and ensure profitability.
Project /Practice Management
Desired Qualifications:
Previous project management experience is required, manufacturing experience is preferred.
Education:
A degree in a technical field 2 years of project management experience OR 7 years of progressive project management experience. PMP Certification is a requirement.
Experience:

Project /Practice Management
- Participates in proposal and deliverables review and pre-planning activities.
- Acts as liaison to the customer from project kick-off through final acceptance.
- Maintains ownership and a hands-on approach to all aspects of assigned projects.
- Leads project planning and execution efforts across the organization.
- Ensures scope, schedule, and budget performance, tracking and managing all changes.
- Communicates with all stakeholders regarding project status and performance.
- Manages project budget and cashflow, ensuring timely invoicing and monitoring of receivables.
- Minimizes company exposure and risk through appropriate review and mitigation efforts.
- Resolves or escalates problems timely and effectively.
- Communicates difficult information with diplomacy and tact.
- Motivates others and conveys urgency appropriately.
- Ensures all project documentation is complete and filed appropriately.
- Proactively maintains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Ability to travel – up to 10%.
- Other duties as assigned.
