Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Exhibits proficiency in all aspects of scheduling and pre-certification. Pre-registers and pre-certifies outpatients by obtaining necessary, accurate financial and demographic information. Consistently exhibits excellence in patient/customer service. Demonstrates knowledge and ability to operate various types of office equipment. Consistently completes all assigned tasks. Works as a positive team member to support and increase overall efficiency of the department. Minimum Qualifications: Working knowledge of medical terminology is required. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Excellent communication skills required. Ability to multi-task required. Knowledge of Call Center phone systems and registration/insurance verification is preferred. Proficiency in computer skills and experience with computerized scheduling system is required.
