Position: Afternoon Teacher Assistant (Part-Time)
This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, thrives in a supportive team, and is looking for flexible afternoon hours. You’ll assist Lead Teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and joyful classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Lead Teachers with classroom activities and supervision.
- Engage children in play, learning, and enrichment during afternoon hours.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with transitions, snack time, and end-of-day routines.
- Communicate positively with children, families, and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred (childcare, education, or related field).
- Energetic, caring, and reliable personality.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with DSS/DBHDS standards.
- Availability for afternoon shifts (flexible scheduling).
