Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to address various tasks around residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential homes, fixtures, and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to plumbing and electrical systems,
- Assist with installations of fixtures, appliances, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Clean carpets
- Small maintenance items
- Power wash
- Basic landscaping needs like pine needle removal
- Communicate effectively with office regarding project updates, timelines, and any necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Write out and issue clean and detailed invoices
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently with little to no oversight
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
