What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Coordinator position at Fleet Farm?
The Safety Coordinator will support activities to strengthen the culture of safety with the goal of prevention in the Fleet Farm Distribution Center. This role helps develop policies and procedures to promote occupational health and safety awareness. The coordinator will build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, operations stakeholders, and production teams to support the overall operations within the Distribution Center. Perform site safety inspections, monitoring and reporting on safety issues, mitigation and compliance.

Education/Experience:
- Associates degree in safety from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience as a safety professional.
- Two years’ experience in managing regulatory compliance in OSHA or related experience preferred.
- Ability to act decisively in implementing solutions
- Ability to multi-task; ability to respond flexibly in quickly changing environment.
- Experience in reporting and developing policies
- Excellent communication and advisory skills
