Responsibilities
Our Field Marketing Manager will partner with Fleet Feet's local Marketing Coordinators in the eastern region to build local strategies and will work as a liaison between the Field Marketing team and store-level marketing coordinators/managers to communicate and support brand-wide marketing initiatives.
This position will audit and coach stores on social media, website presence and listings management. This role will have the opportunity to partner with our company-owned retail locations, field marketing managers and District Managers and highlight marketing wins from their region and facilitate discussion around marketing initiatives.
Our Field Marketing Manager will work closely with each store in the eastern region to develop innovative grassroots marketing concepts, and will meet with each store’s marketing coordinator on a consistent basis to review essential marketing plans and strategies. The Field Marketing Manager will also travel to each store in their region to meet with the marketing managers and Operating Partners, and to support the largest events in their region.
- Review marketing logs for ~18 retail locations and partner with local marketing coordinators on building marketing strategy, including developing innovative grassroots marketing concepts, and ensuring Fleet Feet marketing priorities are a focus in each store.
- Work with each store’s marketing coordinator to make sure they have access to, and understand, all necessary guides, resources, and assets, and all marketing updates from SST (HQ).
- Communicate and support brand-wide marketing initiatives by working closely with the National Field Marketing Manager and store-level marketing coordinators/managers
- Work closely with Field Marketing team and District Manager to understand current market conditions and sales for stores within the east region
- Share ideas and help develop innovative marketing strategies across all stores in the eastern region
- Support major event/expo work in partnership with SST (HQ), store leaders and District Manager.
Qualifications
- 3 years of grassroots marketing experience and or retail marketing experience, preferred
- Comfortable speaking in front of crowds
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Must have strong organization and planning skills, social media experience, and website CMS experience
- Excellent communicator with the ability to listen and adapt
- Builds and maintains trust from the team, staff, and customers by using good judgment
- Hardworking, positive, and self-motivated
- Collaborative and customer-centric
- Willing to go above and beyond when needed
- Support all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities, and functions
- Up to 25% travel required

Additional Requirements: Position requires occasional moving around with light (1-10lbs.) carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling. The position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office equipment, etc. The position is mostly sedentary and requires the employee to have close visual acuity to perform job requirements. The position requires frequent communication with team members and repetitive motion with the hands, wrists and/or fingers while constantly utilizing a computer. This position is located within an office environment and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
