FleetUp is seeking an experienced and passionate Customer Marketing Manager with a proven track record building a customer marketing program that will shape our long-term approach to customer loyalty, advocacy, upsell/cross sell. As a member of the marketing team, you’ll lead the creation of inspiring and compelling resources, experiences, and community that helps support and showcase our customers. You will design, develop, execute, and measure demand generation campaigns and programs producing qualified cross-sell and up-sell leads for the customer success sales team. You’re a strategic thinker and a doer, and you’ll work cross-functionally across customer success, sales, design, product, and more to bring your vision to life. The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate for the customer and strengthen our customer-centric culture to deliver a consistent experience of delight as we grow.


Responsibilities

  • Own the customer communications strategy and calendar, including designing and deploying email campaigns, positioning & messaging, developing in-product notifications, segmenting audience lists, and reporting
  • Build segmentation strategies to customize messaging to users based on key personas, behavioral data, and email engagement data
  • Develop educational content and programs, in conjunction with the product and marketing team that drives adoption and customer satisfaction with
  • Build and administer a successful customer reference program streamlining processes and taking ownership of developing customer quotes, testimonials and videos
  • Manage customer marketing programs such as webinars and workshops to help educate and enable customers and prospects while also positioning FleeUp as experts
  • Maintain relationships with product marketing and product management teams to ensure messaging of programs and product updates are accurate and meaningful to the developer persona.
  • Lead and manage the program to support customer reviews on third-party sites Educate a key internal team (e.g. sales, sales management and demand gen) about the availability and deployment of customer advocacy assets
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve campaign performance, velocity, and overall effectiveness
  • Measure and report on performance of demand generation programs and campaigns using data contained in Salesforce and Pardot
  • Measure and report on the value and impact of customer programs (e.g., inclusive of customer referrals, net promoter score, volume of positive social brand mentions, etc.)
  • Expand and protect the FleetUp brand through deep understanding of our industry, customers, tools and competitors.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years marketing experience with at least 2 years in a hands-on customer marketing/advocacy role inside a B2B SaaS technology company preferred
  • Comfort in analyzing and storytelling with data
  • Have previous Salesforce and Pardot experience
  • B2B cloud software and hardware marketing experience preferred
  • Self-starter who can multitask and lead - balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
  • Excellent project and program management skills, high attention to detail, with the ability to work independently against deadlines and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, must have the ability to communicate with team members and customers at varying levels of management
  • Ability to pull, analyze and leverage data to make decisions and optimize programs
  • Experience with managing peer reviews on Gartner Peer Insights, G2, TrustRadius, etc.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity
  • Background supporting sales and customer success organizations in a growth environment is preferred
