What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at Flex-Staff, Inc.?
Great opportunity available as a CNC Operator for one of our clients in Eden.
Responsibilities:
- Interprets drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done
- Performs diversified operations on numerical control machining centers
- Performs a variety of milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances
- Reviews setup sheet and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished workpiece
- Properly loads and unloads workpieces from fixtures, chucks and collects according to setup instructions
- Manipulates controls and enters commands to index cutting tool to specified set point and to start machine
- Changes cutting tools and location of workpiece during machining process as specified in setup instructions
- Performs a variety of inspection and gaging operations to insure maintenance of quality standards and specifications
- Measures workpiece for conformance to specifications.
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay: $16 if no experience, otherwise with CNC experience willing to pay between $18-$20/hr.

Requirements:
- Must have attention to detail
- Must be able to frequently lift 20-30 lbs, and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
- Mathematical Skills -Ability to calculate figures along with doing measurements is a must
