Description
Flexi Software, a 30 year old enterprise software company, is looking for a hands-on IT Manager. Flexi is a leading provider of world-class financial accounting solutions providing commercial enterprise accounting applications for cloud and on-premise deployments.
The qualified candidate will have a strong background in managing a small team, administering an enterprise infrastructure running various line-of-business applications. This role will include a variety of hands-on work, along with delegating and monitoring of tasks assigned to others. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills are a must. Qualified candidates should reside in proximity to our office in Shelton, CT.
Requirements
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to understand business problems and formulate solutions and project plans
- Managing information flows and capturing collective knowledge to share throughout the organization
- Responsibility for maintaining hybrid network infrastructure
- Responsibility for maintaining both physical and virtual infrastructure
- Managing and administering Microsoft Azure environment
- Delegating tasks and assisting team members with their assignments
- Maintaining company compliance with security policies and preparing security audits
- Ensuring network resources are in accordance with security practices
- Managing IT budget; purchasing hardware and software
- Maintaining vendor relationships
- · Automating IT tasks through PowerShell and other tools
The following qualifications are desired:
- Microsoft certification, preferably related to Windows Server administration or Microsoft Azure
- First-hand knowledge of Windows Server, O365, Active Directory, Switches, Routers, firewalls, VPN, Remote Desktop, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of Desktop and Server Hardware
- Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle experience a plus
- Strong organizational skills
The successful candidate will have a certification in computer sciences or IT-related studies plus 3-4 years of directly related experience.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
