Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will provide exceptional support to our medical staff, patients, and healthcare professionals in our office setting. Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, and performing other duties as necessary.
- Prepare patients for exams, tests, or treatments by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing emotional support.
- Conduct medical history and physical examinations, and document patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Assist with patient scheduling
- Provide patient education
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to office standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients

Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related healthcare role.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some post-secondary education in a healthcare field is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
