Position Title: DRIVER
Pay Type: Hourly
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Shipping & Receiving Manager
Location: Rochester, NY
The Flower City Driver is responsible for delivering product from Rochester, NY to various locations around the Western New York area. They are also responsible for daily, often hourly, trips between Flower City’s Mt. Read and Lee Rd locations.

Essential Functions
- Make deliveries to all FCP customers.
- Make deliveries to and pickups from all FCP vendors on a flexible schedule.
- Make deliveries to and pickups from all FCP branches on a flexible schedule.
- Load and unload truck.
- Pick up required materials and equipment for building maintenance.
- Handle all related paperwork e.g., delivery tickets, pickup tickets.
- Maintain truck and driver trip records.
- Locate customer orders on production floor and move to shipping area for processing when required.
- Band and wrap customer orders.
- Fuel, wash and maintain company vehicle.
- Assist shipping department when required.
- Shipping and Receiving
- Ability to consistently drive.
- Ability to pull or push a pallet jack.
- Ability to operate a GPS and two-way cellular phone.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Regularly required to sit, regular use of hands.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machine.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must be able to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines and priorities.
- Must possess a valid/clean CDL class B NYS driver’s license.
- Ability to read and write English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fork truck experience preferred.
