What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Flowly Solutions?
Flowly Solutions is actively hiring a delivery driver for our logistics team.
This is a full time position which will require you to work a minimum of 40 hours weekly. You must be available to work overtime if it is required based on workload. The schedule is Monday through Friday, no weekend work will be offered for this role.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a delivery driver but we are willing to train the right employee. You will be picking up orders from our warehouse and delivering them directly to customer sites. This job is physically involved and will require you to load and unload your truck by hand.
We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.
Responsibilities:
- Safely driving the company vehicle to and from the customer's location
- Completing daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is up to code and free of damage
- Working directly with customer and remaining professional at all times
- Loading and unloading the vehicle by hand and moving the products to where the customer requests
- Completing reports on deliveries and submitting them to the transportation manager
- Effectively using GPS software to navigate to locations
- Communicating with the transportation manager about delays or problems with deliveries
- Following all traffic laws and safety requirements
- Pulling items from the warehouse and preparing customer orders
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred for this position
- A valid Class C driver license
- A clean driving record
- The ability to lift 50 pounds
- Prior customer service experience is preferred but it is not required
- Computer literacy and the ability to use GPS software
- Reliable transportation to work
- No formal education is required
