Performance Competencies & Responsibilities:
General Labor
- Perform various physical duties as assigned
- Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials
- Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training
- Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
- Moves items from place to place, according to direction from leadership
- Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed in plans or from supervisor
Time management
- Stay on task when working on projects with or without supervision
- Complete assigned tasks with efficiency by or before deadlines given
Communication
- Receive and following instructions and communicating with co-workers, supervisors and subcontractors
Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with FCC team members and Subcontractors with differing work/personality styles
Health & Safety Expertise
- Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and job site organization
- Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
- Complete OSHA 10 Certification
- Understand and maintain Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) guidelines
- Understand and maintain Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM)
- Safely operate various vehicles and equipment
